Morrissey is being interviewed in the forthcoming Mojo magazine, available on March 1st.

He is not the cover star but he has got the banner headline across the top of the magazine along with a picture of him looking cool!

According to swedish musicmagazine SONIC Morrissey wants to perform at Swedish TV-program BINGOLOTTO.

And it's not his record company, but himself that has aked to play the family-entertainment-show, which is like a much cheesier version of "The National Lottery", mostly watched by elderly, although the viewers are among all ages...

It says that Morrissey wants to be seen in as cheesy programs as possible while promoting the new album.

I do hope it's true, sounds fantastic to me; Morrissey for EVERYONE!!!

Morrissey till Bingolotto? - Sonic

A contact within ITV informs me that Morrissey's PR people have been in contact the production company that produces UK TV talk show, Parkinson to enquire about a possible appearance.

The show is due to come back to UK TV screens on March 4th for another series, after the last finished in December.

Many consider Parkinson to be the most dignified talk show on UK television as the host, Michael Parkinson, has been in the talkshow game for many years and has interviewed many celebrities, including legends such as Muhammad Ali, Billy Connolly, John Lennon, Luciano Pavarotti, Rod Stewart, Richard Attenborough and Paul McCartney.

Got a sneaky look at the ringleaders bonus disc which includes the you have killed me video as well as the 'making of' and the 'making of' 'in the future when all is well' which is a pleasing hark back to the your arsenal sound, GREAT vocals and a much zippier arrangement than 'YHKM' although that song is really growing on me,lots of happy shots of our heroes full of the old bon homie, especially nice to see alain chortling away in a dashing green shirt, look out for Boz sporting a burt reynolds moustache, the setting is the same as the 'yhkm' video with moz wearing a brown suit and orange shirt sort of jaffa cake chic! he looks decidedly young and dangerous!, but it seems the third video is destined for a b side down the line,any road up happy times ahead eh?

Quarry on Bank Holiday Sunday May 28th is now confirmed.

It will take place at The Loop, Dering Street, London W1. It is very close to The Palladium and doors will open 9pm until 3am.

Tickets will be available to previous Quarry guests and people on the Quarry mailing list as it is now on Wednesday 1st March. The remaining tickets will go on sale on Monday 6th March via the Quarry web site.

I am also considering 2 other nights on the other 2 Sundays, May 14th and May 21st at a smaller central London venue. Because these are not bank holiday weekends there are some issues with licences etc. If you would like to come along to these 2 nights please go to the web site and show your interest by filling in the form on the May Quarry page. I'll use these responses to decide whether to put the nights on.

Also on the web site you can buy tickets now for the next Quarry night on Saturday March 25th at The Extra Time Bar in The Barbican.

At all nights raffle tickets will be on sale to raise money for the Andy Rourke Manchester vs Cancer charity with the draw taking place on Sunday May 28th.

Prizes include a limited edition print of the Salford Lads Club Smiths photograph donated by photograher Stephen Wright, and a signed "Smiths Singles" cd donated by Johnny Marr.
