A curious entry has appeared in the blog of weird British electronic musician Michael Begg. He relates a really quite funny story of meeting Morrissey in Dublin Airport sparked by his having seen the recently posted pic of Moz arriving in Guadalajara

The entry is titled "Fame is an arrival hall in which you give up your life"

Morrissey - Filter Review
Aragon Ballroom
Filter Grade: 96%
by Nahall Sadeghi

Morrissey has always had a penchant for making his shows out to be like a religious experience, and the night truly had its amens and hallelujahs in tow. The night set off with The Smiths classic, "Panic" and was accentuated by all the awkwardly placed body gestures only the charming man himself could demonstrate. After the song's end, the Moz claimed "It's been many, many years since I first played this fabulous venue. It's my pleasure to say they finally have some decent toilet paper, so things are definitely looking up!" So take note people. Should you ever want the Pope of Mope to return to your favorite local venue, make sure its sanitation products get upgraded.

hey, i went into manchester today and noticed a new virgin megastores spring up out of nowhere. in the window of the shop, there is a huge meat is murder canvas on the wall! i ventured inside to notice that there were several morrissey and the smiths pictures painted in black and white on the walls! one was salford lads club, the other was moz and johnny marr together and there were a few more which i cannot remember what they looked like. its about time music shops begin to take note of the finest in the music trade!
