overall a pretty good record for someone who never wanted a job He has held his version of one for the longest time, in a way that earns my admiration. Sure, Morrissey is much more than the sum of one updated chart history over the other still this is a cheering compass, through these 40years...

Why not? It's a defining album in his career and I think he should - absolutely. He may cancel other engagements leading up to this date, but this - I think he will honour, or reschedule worst case.

My thoughts exactly. Stretch only so far as show ticket guarantees. Travelling only to see a Morrissey show is a risky gamble. Even if Morrissey advises?.... shovels of salt will not be enough.

Sure it is disappointing - a huge let down to the fans, and no words from management - yet. Perhaps there is some 'sensible' reason for this to happen again? I'm sure no one enjoyed making that decision. I hope all is well with the band, and to the fans, better luck next time! qué sera.
