Not only is this Brian fellow as deep as a paper plate (his quip about pizza is just a piece of a Mt. Everest of evidence mounted against him.) he is completely clueless about Morrissey and the Smiths. I listened to 3 tracks by his band and besides being laughable; they are awesomely bad. I must...
In the Robert Mackie pen-pal letters, Moz also expresses a dislike for (amongst others): Kate Bush, Duran Duran, Gary Numan, and Adam Ant.

Re-listening to Vauxhall & I and am struck and reminded of Moz's superior songwriting skills. He's just about the best I've come across and I've come across many Pretenders (that includes the band of the same name.)

Genesis 4:14
I came across this film: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panic_in_the_Streets
and instantly thought of Mozzer. Elia Kazan also directed one of Moz's favorite movies East of Eden. What do you fine people think? Do I need to get a life or is there some possibility?
Johnny Marr said in the South Bank Show that it was vital that the Smiths didn't sign to Factory. I'm sure they respected the Factory label and the bands on it, but the Smiths didn't want to be grouped in with a 'scene' and I don't think they could've been anyway.
