I heard an instrumental piece by Marr years ago. The title of the track has the name of a woman in it. I cannot remember but I keep thinking "Kimberly" or something like that?
Any ideas?
Re: Petition for Morrissey to be given the Freedom of Manchester.
This is about Morrissey's contribution to pop culture and to Manchester regardless of where his heart led him later. The fact is that Morrissey and Manchester are co-related, culturally, musically, etc.

I have all his albums except this one. I listen on my ipod nano to at least 4 or 5 five songs from each album, and none from this one. I did have "Julie in the weeds" and "Forgive someone" which I downloaded, but now they are gone, deleted, kaput. The only songs I don't have on my nano and PC...
Only by people who actually don't understand The Smiths or have listened to their other songs. They just hear Moz sing "Heaven Knows I'm miserable..." and think that it is a miserable song. It is a cry for help not a miserable song.
Southpaw Grammar is the superior of that list. Maladjusted and Quarry have some decent songs. The less said about WPINOYB the better; I'd rather listen to the toilet flush.
No. I am not bored. There is something magical about those songs; something romantic. The lyrics of those songs are poetic, they are not artificial and they mean something. They are attacking and you can listen to the song and identify with it personally because you've gone through it. Cannot...
I don't get it. I read somewhere that Morrissey's new album has reached number 9 in the charts. Surely, for such a dull, uninspired, and almost unlistenable album as this, the cause for the album being in such a position in the charts has to be a combination of starry-eyed people buying the...
In the abscence of good quality songs, I have decided that Morrissey (I couldn't resist :D) should re-produce some of his old songs that are of poor quality production. He does them live so why not in the studio?
An example of a poorly produced song in my view is We'll Let You Know from the...
I have to say that I have listened to Morrissey's new album including bonus tracks and only two or three songs stand out, and when I say "stand out" I mean that very slightly. The album is not his best. I cannot have all the songs on the ipod shuffle because they are so noisey and I cannot stand...
Re: Morrissey is no longer the Morrissey I once knew and loved.
That's not what I meant. Morrissey is an artist, a unique artist. But these songs are not unique. They are amateur. They lack Morrissey, is what I am saying. I don't want to talk about The Smiths because this is about Morrissey's...
Re: Morrissey is no longer the Morrissey I once knew and loved.
May I also add that magazines and so forth are hailing these songs as "brilliant" or "unique". Really? Isn't that astonishing? Are they being paid to play-up these songs and package them as something that they are not. They are not...
I have been listening to The Smiths and Morrissey for over 20 years, admittedly, with The Smiths it was quite late. I enjoy the songs from Morrissey's solo career, but ever since Southpaw Grammar I think that Morrissey's talent has begun to dry-up. I think his current musicians are too exotic. I...
I've just listened to a Morrissey song called 'Stay As You Are' on Youtube, and I would like to listen to the song on my mp3 player. I've searched everywhere for it with no success. I was given a link to the song by someone on another forum, but some webpage came up with symbols and bald eagles...
