Interesting that GaGa on J.Ross yesterday alluded to friendships 'i have with certain artists who are much older than me' but she didn't want to mention who they were. I would be very surprised if Morrissey had actually met her. She was also talking about how she has no friends in the music industry and sees herself as an outsider to the celebrity culture, which made me think of Morrissey a little.

I can't stand her and her ripped off, recycled ideas. She's been going on about celibacy this week too, as well as the "I'm an outsider, I have no friends, nobody wants to speak to me" bullshit last night. It's been done before dear, and better. She needs to do everyone a favour and exit stage left.

Mmmm. Honestly, I have never listened to a song of hers. I mean maybe she's doing some really deep heavy soul searching stuff and wrapping it up in a glitzy vapid package, or maybe she's just doing what her publicist suggests. Hard to comment when I'm not familiar with anything but photos of her in costumes though, so I'll just shut up now.

That's fair enough, but isn't that more what other people are saying about her? I personally wish she'd stop saying "I'm avante guarde" (sp?) in every interview because it kinda makes it less so. However, can you imagine Cheryl Cole even knows what avante guarde means let alone how to exploit it?

I dont think she's as revolutionary as many people make out, but I think her and her music is far more clever than most popstars out there - certainly she's the best of the recent La Roux/Pixie Lott/Little Boots type artist floating around.
