Saw this at the bookstore this morning. I thought that it was a joke, but no. DNA, an Australian gay magazine, featured the top 100 gayest moments, and, on a hunch, I found Morrissey in the list, but only at #40. Unfortunately, the online version requires a subscription, and I'm not about to buy the issue and scan it in. Suffice it to say that it featured a thumbnail-size headshot from around the Quarry era, and noted that his career blazed a trail for other gay artists like Michael Stipe.
