Rumor has it that it is the band (The Smiths) all cross-dressing. I don't know.

the photos on the cover/back of 'the world won't listen' are shots of teens waiting in line to see the beatles in germany. the photographer is pretty famous, and john lennon said this photographer was the only person that could really 'show' what early beatles fans were like, as far as their mood/style.
