Earlier today, we received an e-mail from Moz's agent, informing us, that due to sudden illness in the "touring entourage" (????????), they regret to inform us that the two scheduled live gigs for tomorrow, 5th, and Sunday, 6th of October in Athens, and more specifically at our venue "Gagarin 205", will not happen!!!
We know that many people are probably already on their way to Athens, to see Morrissey live, but we haven't got any means of communicating this sudden news to them, so, in case you have any friends travelling to Athens for the shows, we kindly ask you to inform them asap!

I just got a phone call (1:50 am PST on October 4th) from the ticket Vendor for the Greece shows. The lady (who didn't speak English very well) said that both shows have been cancelled because according to her "Mr Morrissey is feeling ill." That was all the information she had.---

The promoters that booked him (Astra) were circulating a press release, blaming the cancellation to "Morrissey being ill". Regardless to say that noone believes this story here.
