I am a regular listener to 6 Music, including to Now Playing. Tom always seems dreadfully slow, not always particularly clued up on his subject, and there's always a great deal of uninteresting rambling that could be cut down on to fit at least 2-3 more songs in.
Ha, I was at that gig and was tempted to shout that out, but didn't fancy being ejected!
Quite like his quote about TV no-mark Richard Madeley having married his own mother.
Had to turn it off at "Lesley and your pretty white beads...." Ouch. Do you think she even understands the song? She's on slightly dodgy ground, covering that one...
People really should be banned from commenting at the bottom of these things. Anonymity really brings out the worst, ill-informed, most cruel side of people. That rule doesn't stretch to these forums, of course...
Agreed. I wanted to like it. But it was pretty tuneless and cliche-ridden. When he gets that lighter out and starts waving it about it's the last straw for me. Moz's version of Drive-in Saturday is fantastic though.

The Cribs new album is miles better than YOR. Some people need to listen with an open mind and consider that Marr might have outdone Morrissey for once.
I get the impression that Moz himself is not particularly fond of Glastonbury, so in the extremely unlikely event of The Smiths reforming I don't think it'd be there.
Nice one. I love Vonnegut although I am currently more ambivalent about him than usual having just completed a 20,000 word thesis on him! I have overdosed on the man's works in a short space of time, but he is a brilliant and really quite complex writer (obviously funny as well), more than many...
Let's face it, as a program it takes the piss out of everyone. Why should it be any different for Morrissey? Some people on this forum are way too defensive! However, I do object to that tw*t from The Enemy mouthing off. I wouldn't mind if his music was any good, but it's bloody awful.
I agree. Still, I think the Labour Party need to be taught a lesson and shown that they can't abandon their core supporter. For that reason I almost certainly won't be voting Labour in the next election.
