I know there are a few here who are fans of both Moz and the Cure, so I thought I'd post the Cure's 2007 North American dates:

Guess the Far East and Australia precede this, and Europe is to follow early next year...

@ MSG? I'll definitely go if they only sing old tunes.

Thanks for that. I'll keep well clear of those cities on those dates in case I accidentally find myself within earshot of one of the concerts.

PS Sorry. I'm in a windy-uppy kinda mood!
I actually do like a cupla Cure songs. Learnt to play one on the guitar not long ago. 'Just like a caterpillar' (or something). Splendid song!

Thanks, Mr. Wilde!

I haven't heard anything about a new album, I guess they are just promoting the "Festival" DVD.

Well no shows in Ohio so I won't be going. If I wasn't going to England could see them in GA with my friend. Last time I saw them it wasn't a good show.

Do you think they'll do any UK dates at some point?
It's been a while since they did a full tour over here

Thanks for posting this--I was just looking for their tour dates a couple weeks ago, but nothing had been announced yet. And how I see that they're playing here on our 9th anniversary, a day after Suzanne Vega! Fantastic!

I got freebies to their last snoozefest. No offense to anyone, but I would never pay good money to see them nowadays.

I just checked their website today and noticed the U.S. tour dates. I will for sure be at the Dallas show. My 11th Cure show and counting on many more.

holy cow! i'm a little late joining this thread but glad i saw this :)

Sun-Oct-14 Los Angeles - Hollywood Bowl

thanks for posting!!

by coincidence I am listening to the live Wembley tracks on the Pictures Of You single and Disintegration sounds pretty good live. If they played locally I would go see them but they are too far away and I spent my concert budget for the year.

I read somewhere that Hope Of The States will support them on a few dates. Two great bands on one night. Ow yeah.

I'll be there at the Agganis Arena. Anybody know when tickets are going on sale?

Hell yes. I'll be there.

So...do they really suck live?

Truthfully (and I've only seen them once, on the recent Curiosa fest, so I could be misguided) I thought they were fantastic live. They came out and played half a set of deep cuts and rarities, left the stage, came back (introducing themselves as "the other Cure") and played the hits. Very tight instrumentation, and several seemingly off-the-cuff guitar solos on Smith's part. The bass player never stopped dancing. I thought it was awesome. Can't wait to see them on this tour!
