Well spotted Pete.I.ve seen them a number of times over the years and they are still a class act.

Often wondered why so many Morrissey fans liked The Cure when the Bunnymen were superior in every imaginable way

Where and what is Newhailes?

It's been ages since I've been out that way, but looks like a good night out.

cheers peder.

Hee Hee ! When my sister was nursing in Florida she said she was regulary asked where she was from.

When she replied Scotland more often than not she was asked,"Exactly whereabouts in England is that ?"

In the end she used to say it was just outside London. It kept everyone happy

Newhailes House is an 18th century stately home just between Musselburgh and Newcraighall, more info + tickets at www.nts.org.uk The venue will apparently hold 6000 punters . Just perfect for Morrissey too!

Ta Johnny, i'm like you ive never understood why Smiths fans are into the Cure either , ah well each to there own, ive never seen Echo +the Bunnymen before so it might be worth toddling along for them.

I was kind of hoping Moz might play a venue like Newhailes this year but the recent shenanigans with Sanctuary seem to have put paid to any touring soon.

What made Mac Merry?

He saw a bear lady.

Oh, the wit of the east lothian-ers.

(flexing arms, pointing at tits) (mussel-bra, this is a visual one)
