Smiths Mention in new Killers album review.


I submitted it to the main page since I'm bored.


My favorite quote "And for those of us who actually paid attention to the music of the past, they sounded way too much like a badly morphed version of The Smiths. That urged me and my friends to start singing "Morrissey, I sound just like Morrissey" to the tune of the now infamous chorus of "Mr. Brightside."

I like The Killers, but even their third studio album a reviewer mentions Smiths/Morrissey they might not be happy about it.

I like them too. Their first albumwas really good. I haven't listened to anything else though.

'Mr. Brightside' always reminds me of 'Dreaming' by Blondie.

Isnt the review of some other band who supposedly sound like the Killers? Oh and must also sound like The Smiths apparently...

Hmm yeah I liked their first album but was dissappointed with their second, the only decent song on it is "When we were young". They play a great gig though, I was very impressed when I saw them at Glastonbury.
