Places to stay in Manchester???

I am coming in from Los Angeles for the show at the Apollo on the 5th, can anyone suggest a place for me to crash? Hotel? ect.. What do I need to know about Manchester?

I'll second that recommendation. I always stay there when I'm in Manchester.

If you have trouble getting one in Town (what with the Take That concerts on) there's a decent hotel in my hometown of Stockport - the Britannia Hotel. There's a bus that runs from about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and stops right outside the Apollo. It's the infamous 192 bus and it runs all night, and takes about 20 minutes. The hotel is about £40 a room and although it's no Hilton, it's fairly decent.

Does anyone know of a place to stay in London as well? I fly into there on next thursday. There a night then off to Manchester

I hear Moss Side is a pretty cool place to stay in - and not far from the apollo
