What, do you mean the chord sequence...?
I couldn't really hear that much of a similarity in vocal melodies. And chord sequences are free to use again and again and again as far as I know.
Or are you referring to some kind of similarity in melody between the two songs...?
25 years later, as one Steven Morrissey records Used to be a sweet boy, there's something rather familiar about the instrumental theme towards the end.
Speaking of the Pixies - I wouldn't call it a rip-off exactly, but am I the only one who hears quite a lot in common between the final parts of the Stranglers' Golden Brown and the Pixies' Alec Eiffel?
