Any opinions? Just saw them in Bristol and I thought they were brilliant. As did the crowd cos it was a proper dance-off!

LCD SOundsystem are playing there (the Bristol Academy) next week. I'm on my holidays. I wish I wasn't.

So am I an Apple hipster?? Definitely not. But why are bands such as the above welcomed with open arms in the UK/ Europe yet in the States are marginalised to the sidelines?

And seeing LCD Soundsystem on Saturday - WOOOOOOO! Excited!
LCD is absolutely amazing!

I have to say - all interesting new music is coming from North America these days. In UK all new indie bands are as Morrissey said: Look the same and sound the same. Arctic Monkeys clones.
