Morrissey Central "TODAY: BRITISH POLICE SUPPORT AND ASSIST ANIMAL TORTURE" (July 27, 2020)

In spite of all the flack For Britain gets.

You can see why Morrissey finds AMW attractive in the way she stands up for the rights of animals.

And not only being a strong individual, woman and lesbian, one can see why
he ‘supported’ FB in the first place ( does he still?).

What other party can M have turned to
that offers such a unique individual leading it.

Is Waters only bothered about Halal slaughter ?

As I understand it Kosher slaughter is very similar !!

Morrissey shares video from his Number 2 apologist.

The current list of Morrissey apologists:

1. Fiona Dodwell
2. Anne Marie Waters
3. Tommy Robinson
4. Morrissey's Band
5. Joe Chiccarelli
6. BMG
7. Chrissie Hynde

No, she's mentioned Kosher as well.
Here's a quote from the FB manifesto:
"Religious slaughter, both halal and kosher, involve cutting the throat of a conscious animal; a practice prohibited under British law (which requires animals to be stunned to unconsciousness prior to slaughter). EU laws provide a religious exemption to this. For Britain will repeal this exemption in the UK and demand that British law is obeyed."

Don’t forget to add Prince to that list.

I guess Uncleskinny would count Prince as one of the ‘brown folk’ ?

Damn, still friends with Anne Marie. At least it's an animal rights, anti-police, 2 minute vlog.

Morrissey tells me to stop watching the news because it makes me feel small and alone, and yet he's constantly telling me the police and authority figures are corrupt? Isn't he making me feel small too? He seems to have a pathological distrust of the police. Surely he's still not got a grudge for being questioned by them over Margaret On The Guillotine?

No, he’s just informing you.

Also the history of police brutality against gay people is most likely another factor.

Wouldn’t call this post a support of FB or even enough to say he’s friends with her. Let’s keep things in perspective, it’s just a Central post.

I'm hoping he's gone off the party - it's hyper authoritarian (not that it'll ever have any authority) - but it's annoying she's still on the scene because that's probably why there's silence rather than properly moving on.

Similar but there is a difference. As the RSPCA explains:
  • In the UK, 58 percent of Halal meat comes from animals which have been stunned before slaughter and certified Halal.
  • All animals slaughtered under the Shechita (for Kosher) are non-stunned.
I have to say that the 58% figure looks low. I've seen a figure of 88% of Halal-slaughtered animals are pre-stunned in the UK. It seems a bit unfair that Muslims get criticised for Halal slaughter when the vast majority of the animals are stunned, yet Shechita slaughter is rarely discussed but is arguably crueller.

What ‘scene’ ?

He posts about animal rights and a woman who happens to be AMW, obviously pointing to the fact of why he most likely ‘supported’ her and FB in the first place.

No I wouldn't say political support - just posting her would get flack so they could have posted any of her videos.

Unless that's an FB animal rights group - then that might be the link between them. He found out about her through something & it's probably veganism or animals.

On his radar then. Or Sam's. Or both.

We’re talking about Morrissey here.

Animal rights is always on his radar,
and his fascination for strong women
that stand their ground was probably informed not only by the women in his life while he was growing up, but also by his interest in feminism from the 70’s which helped shape who he is today and most likely explains his gravitation towards an individual like AMW.

People get upset about whatever there's a campaign about or whatever they get obsessed by.

I suppose it's inevitable, we couldn't rage about everything, but it's still unnerving when something awful gets tumbleweed & something less awful gets a public outcry.

The police were awful to us gays in the 90s, constant police raids in the gay bars, and derisory comments, but, I have to say, that since then, there's been a complete change of direction. I even held a policeman's hand on my 40th. I d been waving and shouting at people from our roof garden as they walked down the street - people I knew, of course. Someone from the flats thought I was about to chuck myself off and the police caught up with me (elsewhere) a little later on in the day to see if I was OK. Then there was the time last year when they escorted me home in the police car after I became disorderly. There's good and bad in all walks of life.

Yes but in regards to Morrissey growing up in the 70’s I’m sure he observed if not experienced first hand
the abuse of power by police towards gay people, not something someone can easily forget, and something to consider when questioning why Morrissey dislikes authority figures, police and law so much.

“ inspector don’t you know? don’t you care? don’t you know - about love?”

Yeah, very likely. She's liberal on practically everything except her fear that Sharia is going to somehow take over the country.
