I just downloaded Walk down madison ave. demo mp3 from Napster and I will now offer my review. While listening to it I am reminded of Duran Duran, it does sound a bit like glam rock and that is why I thought the rumor of Simon Le Bon teaming up with Johnny Marr convincing. I think this stuff is well, not very good, and we now all wonder wheather Johnny has truly hit rock bottom creatively. I've admired Johnny for a long time and it does not please me to put this in writing.
In spite of all of this Johnny will become very popular as this type of music will surely be liked by a dumb down mass audience.
In contrast moz does from time to time record truly "pop" songs, songs that are going to be liked easily like "Pershanate Love" etc. etc.
