When I saw The Smiths,it was:

( including premieres of The Queen Is Dead and I Know It's Over)

Checking the "set length" never entered my head.

I’ve seen support slots longer than 75 mins.

The Smiths usually didn't play that long and the first Morrissey tours were like 55-60 minutes, at least in the states

As someone who travels to multiple shows I'm glad it's a short setlist. Doing all the dates on the UK/Ireland tour would be intolerable if he played for 3.5 hours a night. Too tiring, for him and us. Keep it short and punchy.
