Infinite Causal Chain of Events..........

If, event A, causes event B, which causes, event C,D,E,& F until infinity, how than, can one CHANGE the causal chain? One can not reverse time, to make event A, event A*, to cause B*, C*, D*, & E*.

Was that the datum?
Did my proof support my conclusion?
And does any of it make me feel any better?
