I will always cancel - you can count on it
Soon again I'll cancel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gee Treydar, that's incredibly witty of you, especially the dig at "blondie". You must be the life of the party at funerals and farewells.

Tell me, are you really that mad at your mother for not breastfeeding you? Surely a little bit of therapy, a bit of forgiveness, and some incest porn can get you over your issues. If not, there's always suicide, and I'll happily offer you some suggestions.

Feel gutted for everyone and me mate who was supposed to be seeing him tonight- fair enough he is ill- you get refunded fer that ticket- but the hotel an train fair you dont. An for us poor working class an' student lot thats a lot of money

ADETTE, I was expecting better from you than grade school putdowns. Why so defensive?

I'm fairly turned on by you stalking me, at least someone is ready my bloody awful poetry AKA sarcasm to lighten up the wristcutters on this forum.

I take it you are inbetween breaks of sodomizing poor Eastenders that you popped into an internet cafe just to stifle me.

Off you go back to it now and tell my friends I said hello.

(ps - the 'blondie' was definitely intended to call you out from underneath the covers fyi :) )

I was there.i was gutted.I spent a lot to get there and stay overnight etc.As did a lot.I'm sorry he's ill and wish him well.

But HE could of said sorry. He could have croaked the words. It would have meant a lot.

Sweetie-Pile, my feminine name would either be ADINA or EVE, obviously.

I'm safely tucked in my living room in the lost city of Atlanta, although I do live in East Atlanta, so I can see why someone with your lack of IQ would confuse so easily. (Sorry to tell you, but Englishmen are a complete turn-off to me. They're too easy and pliable. Aren't they all bent anyway?)

Grade-school putdowns! My God, man, you're assuming that I went to grade school? Presumptuous little rag. I was born with an education. I've only lost it to senility with my advanced age. Leave the poor wristcutters out of it unless you have word that they're attacking Mike Joyce with their razors.

As for all of the friends you'd like to me greet for you, well, I'm sorry to say it, but you don't really have any. Nobody loves you, so please, oh please go and top yourself.

I'd never use an Internet cafe, by the by. I only frequent establishments with liquor licenses. (Trust me, don't ask for a Bloody at Starbucks.)

XXOO,
A

P.S. Stalker? You're the one who tracked me down on myspace. Let's not point fingers.

aaaanyway - I was reading some of the pages and to be honest last night was pretty annoying (the crowd reaction) - and to the folks talking about how much they spent on this and hotel and plane and all that... A press release sprung to mind - I forget where I read it but surely it is on here somewhere. Moz said flat out - at least about the US tour - that he would be playing all of the little remote places on an extensive tour - this way he would be coming to us, rather than the reverse. So he basically said - let us come to you. Maybe it's a big responsibility to have people spending so much on hotel and flights just to see him - but really it is the buyers responsibility, not his. He is not expected to have a crystal ball and I think he should go right on scheduling shows because people never know when they will get sick. Maybe people should not go booking flights and hotels and following him to places that they do not already want to see anyway.

The rest of the shows are not happening... but hell - I am going to the countryside and spending the day with a good friend tomorrow - I already had lunch, dinners, and quite a few beers with some old friends I needed to see anyway. I saw some amazing parts of this city that I anyway wanted to visit... I made a good friend out of an aquaintance (staying with him in his home in london) and I almost made out with somebody in the tube completely drunk.... ooops... hehehe... not a stranger but an old friend... kinda glad I didn't have that last beer and didn't do it... I would not have wanted to wake up having to deal with the fact that I made out with this one in the tube station - for some reason. But what I am trying to say is, if you don't have anything else you want to enjoy of the city - then maybe rethink travelling too far for the shows, or spending huge amounts of money. I am kind of grateful to Moz for taking me to this city right now... because its so nice to discover it. I also admit that my throat also hurts and I am rather beat - might be a blessing in disguise if it is rescheduled because I am feeling a bit sick myself and have more travelling to do in the coming weeks! not to mention work to pay for it.... the dollar... oooof... feels like I have rupees with this exchange rate!!

Anyways thats just my take on it - if you are gonna complain and bitch then I think you need to have a look at your own plans and thinking and priorities.

No mention on the Roundhouse website about the Saturday and Sunday shows being cancelled. They still have the booking page up for tickets! Bet there will be a few turning up tonight who haven't a clue its been cancelled.

In a nutshell....

It was Russell's idea to go up on the stage, with Jonathan & David in toe - admittedly partly out of vanity. They didn't envisage the booing - Russell talked about how, although he's aware there is always a small mob contingent at most gigs, Morrissey's overall ethos is of alientation and love, and he was, therefore, rather shellshocked by the whole thing.

Also, after they left, outside the venue, Jonathan & David were (alledgedly) attacked by fans.

I was very angry last night, but I think that was fuelled by alcohol. After a nice meal and a few more drinks I calmed down a bit. I am still sending Morrissey my train ticket and hotel bill and demanding a refund for that too though.

Russell just described it as something along the lines of "the worst musical collaboration since Brian Wilson started messing about with Charles Manson".

This is the most sensible well mannered thread i have read on this forum since signing up. Funny and intelligent. Shame we all missed out, but there have been some great places people would never have gone to like you said (plus, there may be a re schedule and almost certainly refunding) You're someone who takes the possitive from everything, and have some great little stories to tell along the way. The tube ;)

P.s, how do you spell ''schedule'' ? pissing English Lit Degree gave me no advantage at all!

If Moz reschedules and plays Roundhouse for the re-scheduled nights again, and DOESNT PLAY... COME BACK TO CAMDEN... then he really is as unpredictable as he has always been !!
