sex aids your partner purchased

Has your partner ever bought you a sex aid that you thought ''no way''?

My cousin has just split from her husband..... she told me he bought a ''plastic vagina'' and caught him using it:eek:
No wonder she wanted out:crazy:

Love PTxx.

an ex of mine once bought a 12 inch dildo, as thick as my wrist, intended for my arsehole.

i politely declinded the offer.

Why is a plastic vagina considered unnaceptable, yet a vibrator isn't?
I fully agree, it's NOT acceptable... but why, I wonder.

had it been quite a bit smaller, i wouldn;t have reacted so negatively.

why are eeither unacceptable?

dunno... just those plastic vaginas are scary.
It's fairly commonplace for women to have vibrators now. But if you went round a blokes house and he had one of those in his top drawer, you would think 'what the hell...?'
This may well be sexist. But it's true. :)

is sexist, but entirely agree.

do you think they'll evr become commonplace? i mean, everyone accpets that guys jerk off. would it be so strange to have a device to aid in the practice?

I guess part of it is that men don't NEED a bit of plastic to do it, whereas some women definitely do.
But maybe more of it is just the general fear of the mystery of the vagina, and seeing it remodelled in rubber is just too much for some women!
I don't know... maybe it will be acceptable one day like guyliner or man-scara. Oh...

yes, it is true, as general stereotypes go

men have no trouble turning the act of sex into merely another bodily function
while many women feel "a prop of some kind" is essential to their "solo" sex life :o
and while i cannot really define why, i feel both of those facts are absurd
at least on the deepest of levels within me  & i just know that the thing we humans have most f***ed up so far is our sexuality as a species :(
man, i doubt we even can concieve anymore what a "natural" relationship to sex would even be like

lol, great thread.

Boring old no for me, but I'm not outraged either way, its all good.

I don't think I'd mind if my husband (or boyfriend if I wasn't married) had a fake vagina as long as it didn't LOOK like a vagina. They exist in non-body-part form. I have seen them in catalogs. :blushing:

I'm not available 24 hours a day, after all. :D

It usually works out just fine. One time I bought a cute little vibrator to someone I broke up with as a farewell gift, and at first she wasn't sure whether to be insulted or happy with it. I think she ended up loving it.

It is an interesting question. Maybe it's because there're vibrators and dildos in porno, which makes it more mainstream or 'normal'. I've read a lot about how porno gives people a twisted image about sex, but maybe that's a good thing that comes out of it?

Absolutely nothing. Both men and women have the same right to own and use sex toys without shame. :)

Yes, that's true... but it still stands that a majority of straight women would be creeped out by a fauxgina toy, whereas most men these days would be unphased by a dildo/ vibrator.

Maybe you're right, 5am, and it's fear of the unknown, as they are uncommonly used (or well hidden!)

5am... buying someone a vibrator as a break up gift IS a bit strange, but definitely useful. :lbf:
