Such a Little Thing....

you know, at the top of this board there's a greeting (sort-of) thing, says Hello...yada yada yada...your last visit was ____since then ___messages have been posted...Well mine hasn't changed since the 21st of May...and i'm at about 500 new messages...i know it doesn't really matter but i was just wondering what exactly could be causing this

This happened to me several months ago, and I paniced every time I looked at it. Mine went back to naught when this board was down for a period of time. It is like a clock that is always wrong.
Just call me AR (anal retentive).
