Which is it for you...

oscillate wildly or money changes everything?

I cant believe that Andy's bass playing has been overlooked so much...its AMAZING in money changes everything

I would have to say Oscillate Wildly. I listened to Money Changes Everything before I chose, just to make sure, and I really do like it, but there is just something that Oscillate Wildly that does it for me.

This.

Not to diss Andy's bass playing of course...not overlooking it, just love Oscillate Wildly. Also, doesn't Andy play cello in Oscillate Wildly? Now THAT is overlooked. And cool. /orchestra geek

Aww cute! Orchestra geek FTW

Money Changes Everything is booooring. Oscillate Wildly is nice enough. I've never really seen the point of any of these being put on albums really.

Some people love to see what Johnny can do on his own, and I guess it's interesting. A Marr-crazy friend described the instrumentals to me as 'musical porn'.

That is a rather silly thing to say, just because Morrissey isn't singing, don't get me wrong, I more than adore his voice but its nice to see what johnny/andy can do on their own!!! :)

And what about Mike?!
:p

For me, Oscillate Wildly. I love that song, it's so...elegant, or something. I could listen to it over and over. In fact, I do. :thumb:

I love them both, used to always prefer Oscillate Wildly, now I prefer Money Changes Everything.... I like the drums towards the end.

Instrumental songs like these are good. I've always liked them.

Oscillate Wildly is a stunning piece of work. I also like the way Morrissey managed to slyly get Oscar Wilde into the title of an instrumental. Does anyone know if he ever wrote a lyric for this song?

Money Changes Everything.

Haunting, rocky and melodic. Perfect.

I do love the instrumentals, i hope the click track sees the light of day at some point

"The Draize Train" is my favorite. I like the studio version but the live take on "Rank" is blistering. Almost certainly Craig Gannon's shining moment. If you can make out his contribution, that is. ;)

it's Joyce drumming that make it a better version for me.

I think all their (Johnny's, ahem) instrumentals are wonderful in their own way. Were they completely Johnny's or did the other guys contribute? (Here it comes......)

Anyway, piano on Oscillate, just stunning.

Oscillate Wildly. (Do I hear some singing by Moz in the background?)

Or Money Changes Everything? I love them both.
