This is a great song! i forgot about this release. John Doe is awesome, though i preferred him with X, they are such a great band. Ok, now I have one more good song for 2007, although, as of yet, they're all from performers from the 70's/80's. They don't make 'em like they used to...

If you haven't listened to the Battles/the National/Holy f***/Dan Deacon you should check them out the latter two are more electronic dance music, the Battles are a very tight math rock group and the National sound like a more brooding Spoon mixed with Paul Banks of Interpol.
I would say check out Arcade Fire but I already saw that you didn't like them, its a shame they have very good moments on Neon Bible not to mention they are pulling off the "wall of sound" better then any band probably since Trail of Dead.
