Marion Black - Go On Fool
Marion Black had this mild hit, no.39 on Billboard's R&B chart, back in 1971. It was recorded on Cap Soul Records in Columbus, Ohio. After recording for Chess Records in 1974, he quit music to wait tables at a local Holiday Inn, retiring in 1995. His song 'Who Knows' (the A-side to Go-on-Fools B-side) has been featured on Weeds and Queer as Folk as well as movies In the Mix and Who Killed the Electric Car?.
He's singing tomorrow night at the Lincoln Theatre in Columbus along with Syl Johnson, Renaldo Domino, and The Four Mints.
