I DON’T KNOW WHY MY MOTHER IS DEAD

“Following a stroke, her recovery was remarkable.
She had three extensive head-to-toe examinations by the NHS who could find nothing amiss.
Four days following the third all-clear examination I was told that my mother had three weeks to live.
Nine days later she had withered and died without any attempt by the NHS to save her life.
Once the NHS waves you off with paracetamol, get ready to meet your maker.
The official cause of my mother’s death was not the trendy and unquestionable “covid” - but, instead, cancer of the gallbladder … which had gone undetected by the NHS during their three thorough investigations.
How I wish to all gods that my mother had expressed no faith in the NHS.
She might still be alive today.”

Ket, he'll never stop. In 2 more posts he'll be in a doctor's office talking to a specialist in gallbladder cancer.

Escape!!!

Most people on here wish you would jog on. Do you think you are the only person allowed to speak.

Control freak

unlikely for someone in their 80s. They may have been able to delay it with chemo etc and maybe then had a bit more time but many people in that age group chose not to go through that.

The worst group for gallbladder cancer in terms of mortality rates is women and women aged 80-85.

Survival rates in that age group are around 5% if detected years early and then that would involve fairly unpleasant treatment so there would be a question of quality of life and those treatments can introduce other issues for someone of that age.

Survivors are mostly under 50 and the preventability stats are 2%.

Yes ‘unlikely’ but there’s always a chance.

Think some would prefer the chance to fight it, rather than a too late diagnosis where there’s only acceptance of the inevitable.

I agree but there is no evidence in this case that the NHS were at fault from reading his post.
There is not enough information to be able to make that assessment and if he thinks there was a problem then he might be best going to those that know rather than people on the internet who have no idea what happened. It has led to loads of people on here calling for an end to the NHS and attacking the NHS and there is nothing in his post that justifies that. All of those people are guessing and expressing their own personal dislike of the NHS.

An early diagnosis would be years ago. Too late may well have been over a year ago and who knows when these tests were done. No one on here.

I don’t believe Morrissey’s comments are going to end the NHS or anyone’s comments on here.

I think his grieving is justification and reason enough for his comments. If anyone agrees or disagrees with them is beside the point, if any posts need to be made then they should be filled with understanding and empathy with Morrissey’s position, his mental state and heart break.

I said a while back that his comments are coming from a place of upset and grief so I think what you say is a given.

It doesn't though mean that people shouldn't express their take on it if they want to and I don't think people expressing their view automatically means they lack understanding. Understanding does not have to equate with agreement.

After all if everyone was just silent on here what would all these people do all day without the platform to express their opinion. Although I have to admit that does seem very appealing if some people were less noisy.

grief is not justification to say anything unchallenged nor is it reason enough for saying things that are not correct.

Most of us on here have probably gone through grief and when I did I still would prefer people to challenge me if I was talking crap rather than just accept whatever I said but that is me.

I agree with you. All my love to Morrissey for as long as he needs to heal. ❣️❣️❣️❣️

Have you seen The Killing of Sister George? It's fabulous.

Not at all trained on the theatre stage to deliver monologue in an over dramatic and far from natural way.

"Henry bring me the tea and place it at my knee for you see there is only you and me tee hee tee hee."

Because she was in her late eighties dude!! There’s your answer! Now show some f***ing decency and mourn in private with family and loved ones!!!

He is mourning with some of “us “ his loving and devoted fans.
Unlike you , with your “ kick a man when he’s down” approach ...

What a throughly vulgar, tedious and unpleasant little man you are...

Ot to those who are sane, it is known as public attention seeking. When did you last see an artist act publicly like this on the death of their mother? Sing about it sure, write a whole album about it but this, nah. When did he last spend time with some of you, his loving and devoted fans? Was it over a drink, a chat, something to eat maybe, a simple hello in the street, an email, a wave? Can you mourn with someone? Can you mourn with someone you don't know and have never met?

It has many names but the most common are 'mourning sickness,' 'recreational grief,' and 'grief porn.' I never saw the point of it myself. To me it seems to be more about the 'griever' than the victim.
