If you think about it, these 'covers' are a simulation of Lana simulating M's phrasing / vocal quirks / accent / etc. Which is cool from a computer nerd's POV, but from an artistic point is veeery meh, and disturbing too. When artists cover songs they bring something of their own beyond the voice itself, even they are staying true to the original, so where's the creative bit? You just trained a data model and tweaked it here and there (not that it doesn't require a skill to pull it off, and yet that's not really artistic). And sometimes AI gets confused and does something really weird and uncanny to the vocals.

Other than that, it'd be awesome to hear her actually cover The Smiths or hear them in a real duo. Not that it's happening, but it's something nice to be dreaming of.
