OK. So you either love ROTT or YATQ. But lets think about the gems of the bsides. Moz's bsides have always been full of hidden gems.

YATQ:
Dont Make Fun...Do not like the lyrics, but the song is fun 2.5/5
When you are Small...Good song 4/5
Teenage Dad...2/5
Munich...4.5/5 great song
Friday Mourning...4/5 I love this song
Never Played...4/5
Succession of People...2/5
I am 2 People...5/5 CLASSIC!
Mexico...could have been great 3/5 the live version is better

ROTT:
I knew I was next...3/5 OK song
Human Being...AGH! 1/5
Sweetie Pie...3/5 Depends. You love it or hate it. For me it is interesting..
Goodlooking man 2/5
If You Dont Like me...3.5/5 Nice one
Ganglord...5/5 classic
Christian Dior...2.5/5

Cover songs excluded.

So, where does that put me...
I find the ROTT bsides are very very hit and miss, and not as catchy or easy to enjoy. But that is how I also feel about ROTT

The issue when I listen to these songs, is the production is very difficult for me to listen to. As far as Glam influenced production goes, Ronson gets my vote everytime (production here not songs).

I went to LA 2 summers ago, and cruised in my convertible rental listenning to the deluxe YATQ...The Bsides were really memorable. Sadly, I feel that ROTT bsides will go the way of many of the Kill Uncle Bsides.

This to me is the biggest issue with Moz right now...his band does not have the depth of songs he has had in the past. There simply were not enough classic songs for this album, and definitely not enough classic singles.

So...YATQ the album and bsides wins for me...

Erm.. You know Human Being is a cover song, right? Just you've given it 1/5 but then said that cover songs are excluded...

Anyway, I would rate the one's you've mentioned as;

YATQ:
Daddy's Voice 5/5 - Great fun rock song.
Walk Tall 4/5 - Another fun rock song
Teenage Dad 5/5 Brilliant
Munich...2/5 Not great.
Friday Mourning...5/5 Brilliant
Never Played...4/5 Great
Succession of People...3/5 Acceptable
I am 2 People...1/5 Poor
Mexico 2/5 Not great.

ROTT:
I knew I was next...3/5 Fine
Human Being 5/5 A Cover, but great fun.
Sweetie Pie...3/5 Fine. Not great, not terrible. Slightly towards the good side.
Goodlooking man 3/5 Fine
If You Dont Like me 4/5 Good
Ganglord...5/5 Great
Christian Dior...3.5/5 Some great moments, but not that great all together.

Prefer ROTT album, probably prefer YATQ b-sides, but Ganglord is good enough to make them equal up all together.

Good question, and I find actually rating specific songs too hard so I'll just rank mine.

If there's one thing that's coming out of these opinion polls, it's that Ganglord was wasted as a B-Side. It would have been a thumping single, something a little different that borderline Moz fans would have enjoyed even more.

Anyway, for what it's worth, here's my list:

Quarry Era:

1: My life Is A Succession Of People Saying Goodbye
2: Teenage Dad On His Estate
3: Don't Make Fun Of Daddy's Voice
4: The Public Image
5: Munich Air Disaster 1958
6: Friday Mourning
7: It's Hard To Walk Tall When You're Small
8: Mexico

ROTT Era:

1: Ganglord

There was a poll, a couple of years back, comparing all the b-side songs from the different solo eras. Not surprisingly the Quarry b-sides came out top (or 2nd). They really did contain loads of splendid songs although a fair amount of filler too. Whereas the ROTT b-sides have been pretty patchy.

Need to remember that the Quarry songs were up to 7 years in the making and there was a much bigger batch (around 27 compared to 18 or so original songs from the ROTT sessions). So Moz had a lot more time to think up stuff and also select the very best compositions from his songwriters.

The one positive thing about ROTT is that he didn't really chuck away any great songs on the b-sides (like he did with Friday Mourning, Never Played Symphonies etc). Although it's great for the fans when we get to hear these obscure songs, it does Moz no favours putting relatively poor material on albums (which get properly reviewed, and heard by more people) and hiding the better stuff away on single b-sides.
If he had stuck his brilliant Maladjusted-era b-sides on the album, it would probably have got better reviews, more airplay etc and he might not've been without a record deal for all that time...

Quarry:

1: The Never-Played Symphonies
2: No One Can Hold A Candle To You
3: Friday Mourning
4: Don't Make Fun Of Daddy's Voice

12: My life Is A Succession Of People Saying Goodbye

At least the first 8 are absolutely brillant - and the remaining four are not bad at all. This would have made a very fine album.

ROTT:
1: A Song From Under The Floorboards
2: Christian Dior
3: Ganglord
4: I Knew I Was Next
5: Good Looking Man About Town
6: If You Don't Like Me, Don't Look At Me
7: Human Being

Not as good as the ones from Quarry, but not bad at all.
