What cover song do you want Moz to play?

Moz has done a few covers live over the years.

Please vote for a song that you think Moz would do a really great job at on his next tour?

I vote for;
In Every Dream Home A Heartache - Roxy Music
Candy Says - The Velvet Underground
Send me the pillow you dream on - Dean Martin

Re: What cover song do you want Moz to play?

I think he'd do You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory - Johnny Thunders well.

Ok no honestly now this is a brillaint song for him to sing

Savage Garden - Affirmation

I believe the sun should never set upon an argument
I believe we place our happiness in other people's hands
I believe that junk food tastes so good because it's bad for you
I believe your parents did the best job they knew how to do
I believe that beauty magazines promote low self esteem
I believe I'm loved when I'm completely by myself alone

I believe in Karma what you give is what you get returned
I believe you can't appreciate real love 'til you've been burned
I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side
I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye

I believe you can't control or choose your sexuality
I believe that trust is more important than monogamy
I believe your most attractive features are your heart and soul
I believe that family is worth more than money or gold
I believe the struggle for financial freedom is unfair
I believe the only ones who disagree are millionaires

I believe in Karma what you give is what you get returned
I believe you can't appreciate real love 'til you've been burned
I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side
I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye

I believe forgiveness is the key to your unhappiness
I believe that wedded bliss negates the need to be undressed
I believe that God has not endorsed to be evangelists
I believe in love surviving death into eternity

I believe in Karma what you give is what you get returned
I believe you can't appreciate real love 'til you've been burned
I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side
I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye(Repeat 2)

Savage Garden? SAVAGE GARDEN?!?!?!?

Sweet Jesus, where's the actual music?

The bitterest pill - The Jam (is that how you spell that?)

Just heard this song on the radio and the lyrics fitted really well with Morrissey - don't know if he could pull off the whole 80's big hair thing though:)

Here I go again - Whitesnake

I don't know where I'm going
But I sure know where I've been
Hanging on the promises
In songs of yesterday
An' I've made up my mind
I ain't wasting no more time
But here I go again
Here I go again

Tho' I keep searching for an answer I never seem to find what I'm looking for,
Oh Lord, I pray
You give me strength to carry on
Cos I know what it means
To walk along the lonely street of dreams

An' here I go again on my own
Goin' down the only road I've ever known
Like a drifter I was born to walk alone
An' I've made up my mind
I ain't wasting no more time

I'm just another heart in need of rescue
Waiting on love's sweet charity
An' I'm gonna hold on
For the rest of my days
Cause I know what it means
To walk along the lonely street of dreams

An' I've made up my mind
I ain't wasting no more time

Repeat lots of times

There is a song called "I Concentrate on You" by Cole Porter- I have it on a CD sung by Fred Astaire, in imperfect beauty. This song would be breathtaking done by Moz. In fact, I think he should turn to the great American songbook, and Cole Porter in particular, for some material if he's going to do any covers. Cole Porter was funny, sweet, and extremely sharp- those songs have a lot of sad wry humor and sharp little digs and twists that are just beautiful. Just like Moz. And he's from Indiana, not far from where James Dean was from.

Moz' voice is actually more and more like Frank Sinatra's as he ages- not actually perfect, but perfectly performed. They both sound like real men who can sing, not Singers. Or, god forbid, "vocalists".

I'd like to hear Moz do some novelty songs, like:

1.I'm Too Sexy - Right Said Fred
2.Combine Harvester - The Wurzels
3.Ernie (The Fastest Milkman In The West) - Benny Hill

Or something by someone from a distant genre:

1.Violently Happy - Bjork
2.Addicted To You - Alec Empire
3.Enter Sandman - Metallica

Or, just for me, really:

Love Shack - The B-52's

Fast As You - Dwight Yoakam

It's got a rockabilly feel that would have fit in on the Kill Uncle tour.
