may be they should get several actors to play him in different parts of his career. say JP as he is now and billy crudrup or what ever his name is to play when he was younger! (both kind of look like him)

I always thought Jonathan Rhys Meyers could play a good Morrissey

or otherwise Morrissey once mentioned that Billy Cudrup should play him in a movie. but I don't see it.

Rhys Meyers is a good bet, unfortunately he's just done Elvis for TV in the USA. Was nominated for a golden globe for his portrayal of The King, can't remember if he won it or not.
