I went to an estate sale today with the German guy I wrote about before. He is getting more disabled and I went to help him. He bought a bunch of old windows and then I saw this sitting there. I said to the guy selling the stuff that it's really cool and he said I could have it. It's a Maltese Cross brooch from the 60's. I know someone that collects military pins and jewelry that has this kind of look so I'll probably sell it to him.

Now they are vintage and I don't know how long I would expect them to last even if they were "new old stock." People collect them so they cost a lot more than a new pair of similar shoes would.
