I can't believe Hold On To Your Friends was 47
 
These figures leave me unperturbed given the pervasive trends of anti-intellectualism, anti-art and hyper-consumerism, and particularly their downward trend, don't bother me a jot.

Better to be loved by few than liked by many Moz.

Just compare the higher releases in the given weeks, the pattern will emerge.
 
It may not bother you but it sure as hell bothers Morrissey.

At least he can console himself with being one of the artists with the most number of hit singles (solo and The Smiths) in UK pop chart history- citation needed?
 
And whenever I do the lottery (very rarely) one of the numbers I pick is Morrissey's last hit single effort.... Lets hope he never gets a Top 75 "hit"
