Research shows red hair usually results from a mutation in a gene called MC1R, which codes for the melanocortin-1 receptor. The pigment found in redhair that makes it red is called pheomelanin.
Asians and blacks are not mutants and they are everywhere, therefore, there is no fun to be had kicking them. But Gingers...you really have to search them out over here so you pretty much have to kick one when you see one. If you think about it, you could call it "Kick a Mutant Day", which I think everyone (other than Gingers) could get behind.
