Err, no. That would make it even worse. 'Teenage Dad' is mediocre and 'Daddy's Voice' is positively hideous - one of M's worst songs to my ears. 'Friday Mourning' is so unbelievably workaday too - "routine" as Simon Goddard called it. 'Succession' was beautiful but I don't see it on your list. 'Symphonies' was nice too. But the album you suggest would be worse than the official release, not better.

Replace all the songs except Irish Blood and Gang (along with Dykes, which I enjoy quite a lot for some reason) with the b-sides and you have- in my opinion- a much superior album.
